As we begin to transition from the melting, mucky and wet end of the snowy season to the soft warm tones of our Alberta spring, it is time to start thinking about those outdoor portraits. As always that number one concern with clients is, "my dog can't be off leash".
I assure you, this is not a concern at all! The majority of dogs I photograph outdoors are in fact on lead. When you go through my portfolio you probably think that I am making that up. But it is true. I just remove the leash in Photoshop. Keeping your dog on lead is first and foremost about safety.
Here are a few examples of Photoshop before and after to help you decide on whether you want to book for the studio or for the outdoors. You will notice that the lead is easily removed and my retouching style is natural.
