Bronson / Edmonton Pet Photographer

Little side story:
I received an email from Shelley looking to do some portraits with her pug, Bronson. After a few email exchanges we picked a date and somewhere along the line there was mention that they were from Spruce Grove. I though hmmmm I wonder if it is that same Bronson my dogs met and enjoyed playing with at the dog park. I mean really how many pugs named Bronson can there be from Spruce Grove?? HAHA. Sure enough, it was the same pug! What a small world. Although we live in St Albert we frequent the Spruce Grove dog park. It has a great fence and there are separate areas for small and large breed dogs. When I am at the park I never mention anything about what I do because the time there is for my dogs not my business. So it was such a nice and fun surprise to see Shelley and Bronson outside the park.

Bronson & his Mom came in for some portraits back in November. It was early in the whole transition from fall to winter so we did a mix of studio and outdoor looks.
I love Bronson’s little smile. He has a little gap where part of his lip is missing and it allows his teeth to peek through.

Lucky & Dexter / Edmonton Dog Photographer

Happy New Year!
I hope the holidays were fabulous for all. I know I had a great relaxing time and am now looking forward to what 2017 has to bring.
I’m starting off the year with a post about these 2 fabulous doodle brothers. Dexter and Lucky had separate sessions. About 2 weeks apart. Sometimes it’s good to split your dogs up in to sessions. As long as you’re not looking for a shot of them together. 😉 If they have very different personalities it can be easier.

Dexter is an easy going guy. Very quiet and gentle. He can sit on command and stay forever in his pose.

Lucky is also a quiet and gentle soul. He is also a little shy and timid. He needs time to open up with strangers.

Fall Surprises / Edmonton Pet Photographer

So there we are busy enjoying the fall.  The colors were beautiful and the clients were getting family and pet portraits done!  I was totally enjoying the beauty and craziness of the season and then BAM!  Mother Nature decided she has other ideas. Haha.  Well as Albertan’s we should know better to think those beautiful autumn days will last.

The current autumn portrait look is still beautiful but I can honestly say I wasn’t ready for the early snow.
