Where did all my time go?  When I revamped my website earlier this year I promised myself I would make sure to get back on blogging. A shiny new website is the prefect time to back at it!  Well I sort of forgot that promise over the last few weeks.  

I guess forgot isn't exactly the correct word. More like pushed it off.  Sometimes things get busy.  Your shooting, editing, bookkeeping etc etc and the last thing you want to do when the sun shines and you have a free moment is sit longer at your desk typing s social media or blog post.  

So here is a quick update on what has been going on!  

Well, I started a big fundraising book project.  If you have been following along you are aware of my Tails of St Albert project that I am doing to raise money for Second Chance Animal Rescue.  I have been photographing a lot of dogs for that in addition to my regular pet bookings.  If you have not been following along, I hope you do!  It is a project I am very excited about.

My human photography side of the business has returned to a "normal" pace after all the pandemic stuff.  In June I did about 70 business heads-shot in studio and on location. It feels good to be back on track.  I know they aren't dogs so you may fine it boring but people do need head-shots too.  AND lastly we decided to do a home renovation project.  So if I wasn't working in my business I was working in my master bath.  I happy to say that after 7 weeks that one is done! I think it will be sometime before we take on a task like that again.  It was a lot of work but the end result is great and we couldn't be happier.
