I spent time last month photographing some of the faces of Second Chance Animal Rescue. These faces are all up for adoption on the SCARS website. Some of them have been in care for over a year!  

I read that 7 out of 10 people will choose to see an animal based on their picture.  I am hoping these studio portraits bring these beautiful dogs some attention. They all deserve a a safe loving home. The situation in our country really in a crisis situation.  So many dogs being surrendered or abandoned.  Some are in even worse situations.
